2.

It's hard to sit in a fishing boat and not be fishing, but it sure builds the anticipation.

Seeing as we are here, might as well grab a rod and start fishing.

Day 3 of Fishing

Georgie (our guide for the day) had plans to take us up the river, a couple stops along the way, then on to The Dunes. This was as close to seeing the dunes as we came, a sandy bank halfway there.

A day of ruined plans

A brief explanation:

Day 3 of Fishing

Georgie's plans were ruined by our first stop,  a little place called  Jackfish Bay

We didn't mind.  We caught five Pike of  40 plus inches,  including...

Dan's monster 45 inch Pike

Day 3 of Fishing

Georgie put on his skills to help us catch this one after it followed a "little" 36 incher to the boat. Georgie hunted him down and 20 minutes later: "I'll Get the Big Net!"

Some good Walleye  action as well
